Svensen grew out of a simple frustration: the best part of a timber building — the timber — was always the first thing compromised. Suppliers were out of grade, fabricators were backed up, and budgets got cut where the craft lived.
So we built the answer into the company. We own the sawmill that cuts the timber, the engineering that makes it buildable, and the crew that raises it. Today, Svensen is the builder a client hires when they want what they saw from the rest of the family of companies — done right, by the people who made the materials.
