On a typical project, the work changes hands a dozen times. Designer, engineer, surveyor, lumber supplier, fabricator, door supplier, contractor. Every handoff is a markup, a lead time, and one more party who can point the finger somewhere else when the schedule slips.
Svensen has those people and those shops in-house. A design team. A structural engineer. Survey and geotechnical engineers at the ready. We own the sawmill, the welding shop, and the finish door shop. That means we control the quality of what goes into your project and we control the schedule it arrives on — because we’re not waiting in line behind someone else’s customers.
For a homeowner, that means premium materials stay on time and on budget instead of getting value-engineered out. For a developer, it means far less exposure to material-cost volatility.
