TimberShield is a heavy-timber canopy system built for EV charging: cantilevered V-leg posts, exposed beams, and a standing-seam roof that shelters the charger and the vehicles under it. Svensen is the crew that puts them in the ground.
Every canopy arrives as engineered timber and steel connections. Our work starts before it does — siting the structure around the charger runs and the drive aisle, confirming the footings and the anchor layout, then setting the posts, raising the beams, and closing in the roof.
It is the same discipline as a timber frame home, compressed into a structure that has to land square the first time: the anchor bolts are cast in concrete, and the frame has no tolerance for a footing that drifted an inch. Assembly and installation are the whole job, and they are what we do.
The canopies themselves — the spans, the finishes, the specs, the ordering — live with TimberShield. If you are speccing one, start there.
Let’s build something that outlasts the mortgage.
